古物　平清水 民藝 俵壺　

ぽてっとした造形が愛らしい、
明治〜大正期の山形の平清水焼です。
湯たんぽに使われていたという説もありますが、
用途よく分からず…です。

あつくぽってりとした白の釉薬がかかっていますが、
灰色の土色が少し透けているので、完全な真っ白ではなく
素朴な雰囲気のある白色です。

底に釉薬の欠けたところがありますが、
景色の一つとしてお楽しみください。

器自体にカケはありませんが、
長時間水を入れていると釉薬が剥がれた箇所から
水染みができるため、そのまま置物としてお使いいただくか、
または細いガラス管などを使用した上での花器使用をお勧めします。
写真ではドライの花を飾っています。

This is an old Japanese folk art item from the Meiji to Taisho period.
One theory is that it was used as a hot water bottle.

There is a chipped area of ​​the glaze at the bottom,
but please enjoy it as part of the scenery.

The vessel itself is not chipped,
but if you leave water in it for a long time,
the glaze will peel off and cause water stains,
so please use it as a decoration.
Or you can use it as a flower vase using a thin glass tube.
