古物の角盆を、柿渋で染め上げた小さな盆です。
酒器をのせたり、花器の台にしてもちょうど良い大きさです。
柿渋で柔らかな艶のないマットな焦げ茶に仕上げ、
縁に薄くヒビの入っていた箇所は
真鍮の飾り留めを施しました。
深い焦げ茶と真鍮の金のコントラスト。
経年によって、真鍮の光沢が消えていくのもまた味が出ます。

This is a small tray that is made by dyeing an antique square tray with persimmon tannin.
The place where the edge had a thin crack was attached with a decorative fastener with brass.
The luster of the brass fades over time, which also gives a taste.
